Energy, Fun, Farming

Favourite Club Night Activity:

Farm visit or something involving food. We had a super night raft building and a BBQ at the end of last year.

Fundraising Accomplishments:

This month we have raised £500.00 for Velindre Cancer hospital, through a sponsored walk up Pen Y Fan and carol singing in the local community. In the new year we plan to host our extremely popular Bingo Night to help raise club funds.

Work Within the Community:

We have a big hand in helping to organise the infamous Llanigon Show in August, from sign writing, rosette packing, building sheep pens it’s a great opportunity for us to work as a team and to recruit new members.

Favourite Competitions:

We have some keen stock judges, sportsmen and some really creative members, I think its fair to say our club really benefit from the broad choice of competitions that YFC has to offer.

How do you use the Welsh Language:

We are a club situated on the border, we have quite a few English members but that said we see a good opportunity in Welsh Language in the future of our club.
