Fundraising accomplishments:

As a club, every year we choose a charity to raise money for – last year, Noah’s Ark was the worthy cause. Throughout the year, we raised money by holding social events. Some examples included carol singing around the village, a food bank collection, Easter Bingo, a Duck Race, and showcasing a variety of our talents after county competitions.

Your work within the community:

Over the past year, we held a community fireworks night, provided stewarding at local shows, and helped with preparations for the Eisteddfod Y Garreg Las! Our members have been kept busy painting pallets, tidying the area by cutting hedges, and stewarding the car park on the Thursday of the Eisteddfod.

Favourite competition:

Everyone enjoys competing in the Entertainment competition – everyone gets the chance to be silly on stage and have fun together!

How do you use the Welsh Language?

Welsh is primarily the language of our club, with club nights and competitions held in Welsh! It is a great opportunity for members to grow in confidence when using their Welsh from week to week – but members who don’t speak Welsh are always welcome!
