Commemorative Clock Marks Wales YFC’s 90th Anniversary
As part of its 90th anniversary celebrations, Wales Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (Wales YFC) was honoured to receive a commemorative clock, presented as a lasting tribute to nine decades of the movement. The clock has been kindly donated by Gruff Rees Evans of Dylunio G.R.E Designs and we’d like to sincerely thank Gruff for his kind donation to the movement. Gruff gave a similar gift to the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society in 2024 when Ceredigion was the feature county.
The clock symbolises the passage of time and recognises the dedication, commitment and achievements of the thousands of members, volunteers and supporters who have contributed to the success of Wales YFC since its establishment in 1936.
The unveiling took place on Sunday afternoon following the Single launch, unveiling the clock was Angharad Thomas, Wales YFC Chair on behalf of Wales YFC Staff and Officers. It will be proudly displayed as a permanent reminder of this significant milestone and the generations of young people whose lives have been shaped through their involvement in Wales YFC.
