“Travelling with the Young Farmers is an unforgettable experience and it’s so nice to make friends from all over Wales.”

On 19th August 2024, 37 Wales Young Farmers flew to Majorca to set sail on their YFC adventure 🚢

We caught up with Manon Rowlands from Ynys Môn YFC to hear all about her experience on the Wales YFC Cruise!

“After taking in the local sights in Palma, it was time to leave shore and make waves on the Mediterranean Ocean. On the second day, we made the most of the on-board facilities and entertainment before disembarking in the beautiful Ajaccio, Corsica for our third day.

Next stop… Italy! On the fourth day we landed on the shores of the beautiful Italian coast where we got the chance to explore Rome, visiting the Trevi Fountain and Colliseum, before heading to Florence and Pisa, with some opting for a Wine tour in the beautiful Tuscany countryside!

The last few stops on the Cruise trip saw members exploring Toulon on the French coast, before reaching the shores of Spain. Here we explored Barcelona, visited the Sagrada Família and Park Guell, before heading to the final docking port of Palma.

This was a special holiday with a special crew. We had the opportunity to explore so many different places and made lifelong friends along the way. What made it special was getting a taste of different cities as well as tasting a variety of different foods in different countries. Travelling with the Young Farmers is an unforgettable experience and it’s so nice to make friends from all over Wales.”
