Wales YFC Celebrates Youth Work Week with Inspiring Showcase at the Pierhead, Cardiff Bay
Cardiff Bay, 25 June 2025 — Wales Young Farmers Clubs (YFC) proudly hosted a vibrant showcase event at the iconic Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay, celebrating Youth Work Week and the outstanding contributions of young people across rural Wales.
Held between 12:00pm and 1:30pm, the event brought together members, supporters, and dignitaries to highlight the transformative impact of youth work within the YFC movement. Attendees were treated to a dynamic presentation of achievements, and personal stories from YFC members, demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to developing leadership, community engagement, and lifelong skills.






A key highlight of the event was the formal presentation of the Quality Mark for Youth Work – Bronze Award to Wales YFC, recognising the organisation’s excellence in delivering youth services. This prestigious accolade underscores the dedication and professionalism of YFC volunteers and staff in supporting young people across Wales.

The event was generously sponsored by Samuel Kurtz MS, a former active member of Pembrokeshire YFC, and supported by the NFU Charitable Trust Fund, whose contributions helped make the celebration possible.

Speaking at the event, Dewi Davies, Wales YFC Chairperson said:

The showcase featured interactive displays, personal stories from YFC members, and a celebration of the diverse activities that make Wales YFC a cornerstone of rural youth life.
