Wales YFC was delighted to announce a special performance to mark the organisation’s 90th anniversary. We were incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to commemorate this historic milestone by presenting a production that celebrated nine decades of the organisation’s history, achievements and legacy. To do so during the Royal Welsh Show, on one of Wales’s most iconic stages – the Main Ring – made the occasion even more special.

Members from every county across Wales came together to take part in the production, showcasing the strength, diversity and talent of the organisation. Over the past nine decades, Wales YFC has provided thousands of young people with unique opportunities to develop new skills, build confidence, make lifelong friendships and create lasting memories. In addition to the opportunities it offers its members, the organisation plays a vital role in rural communities across Wales, promoting volunteering, leadership and positive community involvement.

The special performance celebrated not only the proud history of Wales YFC, but also its bright future.

Special thanks to our Director and Producers, Delme Harries and Amanda Harries, for their vision, dedication and hard work. Thank you to Bill Davies for all his help in creating the soundtrack, and to Esyllt Griffiths and Eirlys Davies for always being on hand to help whenever needed.

Our sincere thanks also go to Pickstock, T. Alun Jones & son, Cardi Cranks, Trem y Wyddfa, Ash End House Children’s Farm for their generosity in providing tractors, pickups and animals, which helped bring the parade to life.

In true YFC style, everyone pulled together to create a memorable parade celebrating 90 years of Young Farmers. Wales YFC was so very happy to welcome everyone to the Main Ring who joined the celebrations and experience first-hand the talent, commitment and strong sense of community that have been at the heart of the organisation for the past 90 years.
