Favourite Club Night Activity:

Our favourite activity is bowling.

Fundraising accomplishments:

Our Tractor Run raised over £7,500. £3,000 was donated to Ty Hafan in memory of Matthew and Mikey. Our Sheep Racing also raised over £600 for the club and Ty Hafan.

Your work within the community:

We enjoy supporting our local community through scarecrow judging, visiting Ty Hafan Hospice and supporting local businesses like Clearwell farm and Friendly Fox.

Favourite competition:

We love Entertainments and Stockjudging. We came 2nd at the Gwent Entertainment Feast this year! Half of Gwent’s Stockman of the Year team also came from Bedwas.

We ask our Welsh-speaking member, Rhi, to help translate words.

Any other fun facts?

We have been going strong since 1944! Our slogan is “Making love, not war since 1944.” We also have our own acronym: BEDWAS – By Ever Do We Archive Success.
