Dunbia to sponsor Wales YFC Prime Lamb Competition at Welsh Winter Fair 2026
Wales YFC is delighted to confirm Dunbia as sponsor of the Prime Lamb Competition at the 2026 Welsh Winter Fair.
The competition gives Wales YFC members the opportunity to rear five lambs before selecting a pair to exhibit at the Welsh Winter Fair. Competitors also produce a display covering their journey, including breed information, costings and photographs.

“We are extremely grateful to Dunbia for supporting the Prime Lamb Competition. Their sponsorship helps us provide members with a valuable opportunity to develop their stockmanship, knowledge and understanding of producing lamb for the marketplace.
“We look forward to seeing the hard work of our competitors showcased at the Welsh Winter Fair.”
Dunbia already has an established relationship with Wales YFC, including working alongside Sainsbury’s on the Wales YFC Lamb Initiative, which connects participating members with the commercial lamb supply chain.
